We have partnered with a third party, FedEx Cross Border, to service our international customers. 

Click the “Outside the U.S.” button in the shopping cart and you will be transferred to a page to select your country from a drop down menu. You will then be provided with international shipping costs as well as duties and taxes for your shipment.

Upon completion of your order, your credit card will be charged for the entire purchase. We will ship the goods to the FedEx Cross Border facility in California where they will process the order and transport the goods to your international address. There are no additional fees or registration processes with this service.

PRICE ADJUSTMENTS

We are happy to honor price adjustments for items purchased or shipped within 7 days of a price markdown. Adjustments are made upon customer’s request via email.

Price adjustments for items that were purchased using a promotional code will be adjusted from the original selling price, excluding promotional discounts.

 

Returns + Exchanges

RETURN + EXCHANGE POLICY 

White + Warren gladly accepts the return of unworn and unwashed merchandise purchased from whiteandwarren.com for an exchange or full refund in accordance with the following terms:

  • FULL PRICE + SALE items must be shipped to White + Warren within 30 days of original order placement
  • FINAL SALE items cannot be returned or exchanged and will be refused upon receipt
  • Defective merchandise is available for return within 14 days of receipt, please inspect all items in your order upon arrival so we may replace defective pieces in a timely manner. 

White + Warren does not accept items returned from independent retailers or department stores, please contact the original retailer where the purchase was made to complete this type of return.

 

RETURN + EXCHANGE PROCEDURE FOR U.S. ORDERS 

Please email customerservice@whiteandwarren.com with the subject line "Return Label request" to receive a free FedEx return shipping label. 

  • Complete the return/exchange form included with your original order, keeping the top portion of the form for your records. Include the bottom portion of the form with your return/exchange. (If you are shipping an exchange to a new address, please include this address with the exchange paperwork.)
  • Securely repackage your merchandise, removing any original shipping labels or carrier barcodes from the box, and affix the free return label to the outside of the box.
  • Drop off the box at any FedEx location that accepts Ground packages. 

Returns are processed in 7-10 business days of receipt. You will receive confirmation via email when your refund has been processed. Please allow up to 5 business days for a refund to apply to your bank account. 

Exchange orders are processed in 7-10 business days of receipt and shipped via FedEx standard service, arriving within the following 7 days. 

Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Items from international orders are available for return and exchange within the time frame described in the Return + Exchange Policy above. 

Customers wishing to process an exchange from an international order will be refunded for the returned item(s) and charged for a new, replacement order.

HOW WARM IS THE TRAVEL WRAP?

Our cashmere travel wrap is knitted in a very lofty weight (not overly tight) so that it’s airy enough to drape over your shoulders in summer, but also holds in body heat when worn as a scarf in winter.

 

WHAT IS THE MOST POPULAR COLOR?

Neutrals like Black + Grey Heather are popular all year long, while favorite pops of color change seasonally from brighter hues in Summer to richer, deeper shades in Winter.

I’M BUYING A WRAP AS A GIFT, WHAT COLOR DO YOU RECOMMEND?

We suggest starting with a must-have neutral like Black, Pearl White, Grey Heather or Sand Wisp Heather. Then make a statement with the colors of the season!

 

HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY WRAP?

We recommend washing your wrap with The Laundress Wool & Cashmere Shampoo.

-Press (don’t twist or wring) the excess water out between two dry towels, then lay the wrap flat on a dry towel.

-Once the wrap is completely dry, fold it and place it in a White + Warren Cotton Dustbag and into an air-tight container with cedar chips or lavender sachets. (Cedar and lavender are natural moth repellants and they keep your knits smelling heavenly in between wears!). Store the storage container in a cool, dry place. 

If your wrap gets hurt, email us at customerservice@whiteandwarren.com and we will send along some yarn so a specialist in your area can re-knit the damage.

About + Caring for cashmere

HISTORY OF CASHMERE

Cashmere goats thrive in adverse mountainous conditions, growing thick coats for cold mountain winters. In the spring, the goats are combed to remove the downy under-layer of cashmere fibers. These fibers are much finer than wool, and are exceptionally soft and lofty. Cashmere got its name from Kashmir, a region located in northern India that became known in Europe in the nineteenth century for its fine shawls. Since the advent of sweaters as fashion items in the early twentieth century, cashmere has increased substantially in popularity for a variety of uses, from sweaters to slippers to hats.

CARING FOR CASHMERE

HAND WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

  • Turn the garment inside out to wash the fabric where stains and odors build up on the inside, closest to the body.
  • Prepare a clean basin or sink with cold water and a gentle soap like The Laundress Wool & Cashmere Shampoo. Mix shampoo and water until combined. 
  • Submerge garment and gently wash using your hands. Thoroughly rinse the garment in clean, cold water. Be sure that all the soap has rinsed out then press out excess water. Do not twist or wring out water. 
  • To dry, place the garment on top of a dry towel making sure the towel is flat and the garment is in its original shape. Lay a second dry towel on top and press down to absorb any excess water left in the fibers. Removing excess water is very important because cashmere should not be wet for long periods of time. 
  • To finish drying, place the garment flat on another dry towel or drying rack. 

DRY CLEANING: Dry cleaning has long been recommended for cleaning cashmere, but what is safe for your clothes isn’t necessarily safe for the environment. If you must dry clean a garment, we recommend choosing a ‘green’ dry cleaner.

STORAGE

WASH: Hand wash your garments using a gentle soap to rid them of perfume, body oils, and food from wearing; all of these things become a potential food source for moths.

SMART STORAGE: After washing, carefully fold your garments and place them in the White + Warren cotton dust bags that they were shipped with. Cotton pillowcases will work if you don’t have dust bags. Put dust bags in an air-tight bin with cedar chips or lavender sachets. Cedar and lavender are natural moth repellants and lavender will leave behind a pleasant scent (unlike moth balls which are toxic and leave an odor that is hard to remove). Store your bins in a dry, cool place to avoid moisture and moth breeding.

SOLVING AN EXISTING PROBLEM: If you find moth holes in your garments, wash them and the drawers or storage bins where they were kept. You can put individual garments in air-tight plastic bags in the freezer for a few days, which will eradicate pests. Make sure to throw away the bags afterward.

For pilling under the arms or on an area where a purse or bag may rub against the knit, we suggest carefully using The Laundress Sweater Comb.

REPAIRS + MENDING

For items with small holes that can be mended, please contact us at customerservice@whiteandwarren.com to see if we have extra cashmere yarn in the color of the item. We will be happy to send you some to mend it yourself or to take to a local specialist to re-knit for you.
