DESTINATION: UBUD

SPRING 2018

Our journey through Bali continues with a visit to Ubud, known for locally made crafts, traditional dance and the famous Monkey Forest.

Ubud Market: A local institution for artisans to sell handwoven fabrics, straw bags and batik garments; they’re perfect souvenirs!

Rice Terraces: These iconic terraced rice fields are still active, so you can either walk through to see the rice production at work or take in the scenic panorama from the bustling top point.

Monkey Forest: Immerse yourself in nature in a preserve filled with over 600 monkeys. And yes, you can buy bananas there to feed them.

Art Galleries: Ubud is known for its gallery and museum scene, showcasing the best of contemporary artwork from Bali and beyond.
